Which is correct, to "do" or to "make" an (opinion poll) ?
Please help and share your answers.

Okay, this is how I would use "do" and "make" with "opinon polls".
to make an opinion poll.....to create an opinon poll
to do an opinion poll....to perform an opinion poll
If you make an opinion poll, you write the questions, print the forms, etc.
If you do an opinion poll, you ask or answer the questions, collect and analyse the results, etc.
For a school project we have to make an opinion poll.
When you make an opinion poll be sure to choose the correct words.
Do an opinion poll and ask people what they think of the the new Health Care Law.
I could do an opinion poll about whether we need the thumbs up/thumbs down feature in Italki.
