what does "scatter-headed" mean?
["He's too old for me then, and now it appears he's too young. after scatter-headed children like you and Caroline. Oh, my blessed, what a cruel man.]
what does "scatter-headed" mean?
I don't think I've ever heard the phrase "scatter-headed," but the term "scatter-brained" is quite common. 'Scatter-brained' describes someone who is thinking about one thing, then another, then another, and is therefore forgetful or unfocused.
