difference between missing, left, to go and remain

I'm not sure how missing relates to the other words because there's no examples of these words used in sentences. Missing can mean to lack or to be in need something or someone. "You're so far away and I'm really missing you." It can also mean to be in the process or losing something. "I'm missing my favorite T.V. show right now because of you."
Left has several uses. As a direction: "Turn left at the next intersection." As an amount of time remaining: "You only have 2 days left to complete that report." To leave somewhere: "I left my house around 2:00 P.M. Also, to leave something behind: "I left my heart in San Fransico." "I left my coat at your place."
To go means to leave, to move from somewhere, or to proceed forward. "I want to go home." "Go straight forward and you'll find it." "I going to go to the store now."
Remain means to stay. "I'm going to remain in my bed today because I'm not feeling well." "Remain seated." It can also be used like the way the word left expresses time. "Only 5 days remain until the big day." Hope that helps.
