There are many translations to 整理 depending on the context. "clean up" will suit most of the circumstances as it can be used as slang. 整理英文 "clean up my English" but you cannot tidy it up! 我"整理"房間 "clean/tidy up my room" 我"整理"垃圾 "remove the rubbish". You cannot clean up the rubbish literally but you can figuratively. 我"整理"頭髮 "I am tidying/arranging your hair". You cannot use "clean my hair' => 洗頭髮 我"整理"我的心情 "I am curing/remedying/sorting out/arranging my feelings".
