파란(색) vs 파랑(색)
Hello! I asked this earlier but I made a spelling error so I didn't get an answer. can anyone tell me the difference between 파란(색) and 파랑(색). I've noticed not just with blue but most (or all?) colors can end with either ㄴ or ㅇ consonant.
also between 감사하다 and 고맙다 which is more respectful?

파란 - adjective -> so to say color you should say 파란색
파랑 - noun -> so you could say just 파랑 but someone say 파랑색 too.
ㄴ is usually used to connect it to noun like adjective.
감사합니다 - more formal and respectful but 고맙습니다 is warmer and more familiar
