MI PIACEVA modo indicativo, tempo imperfetto: indica un'azione passata nel suo svolgimento, nella sua durata, senza esprimere il momento d'inizio o la sua conclusione. MI E' PIACIUTO modo indicativo, tempo passato prossimo: e' il tempo passato che indica un'azione conclusa, avvenuta nel passato, i cui effetti possono perdurare nel presente.

Mi piaceva (imperfetto): I used to like it - meaning I liked something or somebody, but not anymore.
