Am I right about 'as heavy as the beginning'
Hi everyone, please help me ckeck out this, thnak you:
as heavy as the beginning
I just try to express that the weight of a bag does not get lighter after getting rid of some stuff inside. But I have no idea if it is a good way to say that or there is a better way.

...as heavy as before.,,,
The bag is as heavy as it was before I removed some items.

Hey there Liosha. How's it going?
.
Removing weight from a bag does make it lighter.
That is inescapable. Still, if this is what you wish to claim, you could write it something like this:
"The Bag is just as heavy, after the removal of some of the material, as it was at the beginning."
Or Liosha, you could write it this way:
"The Bag is the same weight now, after the removal of some material, as it was prior to the removal of any of the material."
Or, you could say something like this, if you wish to avoid the questions about a Scientific Exactitude or Certainty:
"The bag is nearly the same weight as before."
or....
"There is no discernible difference in the weight of the bag, after a little of the material has been removed."
or, in perhaps the simplest form:
.
.
The bag is as heavy (or the same weight) now, as it was at the beginning."
.
.
Let me know if I can help you further with this. ---Warm Regards, Bruce

It's as heavy as it was in the first place.
