Can a Chinese friend please translate this poem for me? 请帮我翻译
If you could please provide a more literal translation. There is a translation online but I am unsure how accurate it is. Thanks!

Above the ocean, the moon, a shining wheel, rises slowly. People in all corners of the earth share this moment. Lovers scorn that the night is too long; they are thinking of each other, and find it hard to fall asleep. The brightness startles my eyes, so I extinguish the candle. I drape on a coat because of the cold dew. I am unable to send my heart filled with longing and my handful moonlight to you. I can only sleep and meet you joyfully in my dreams. This poem describes lovers' longing for each other at a full-moon night and the sleepless, restless condition that such longing entails.

I can tell you some information of this Tang dynasty poetry. It was wrote by Zhang Jiuling, who is a very famous poet in Tang dynasty. The style of this poetry is an eight-line poem with five characters to a line. It is a strict tonal pattern and rhyme scheme. The poem describes the author missing his relatives from afar under the moonlight as the author left his hometown, so that's the title's meaning. I think the famous lines in this poetry should be "海上升明月,天涯共此时." It means seeing a bright moon rises over the boundless sea, reminds the author of his faraway relatives. Maybe it is about the time that they are looking at birght moon thinking of me(the author) too.

Looking at the Moon and Thinking of One Far Away
--Zhang Jiuling
The
moon ,grown full now over the sea,
Brightening the whole of heaven,
Brings to separated hearts
The long thoughtfulness of night....
It is no darker though I blow out my candle.
It is no warmer though I put on my coat.
So I leave my message with the moon
And turn to my bed, hoping for dreams.
I'm not sure whether it's right or not
