I can tell you some information of this Tang dynasty poetry. It was wrote by Zhang Jiuling, who is a very famous poet in Tang dynasty. The style of this poetry is an eight-line poem with five characters to a line. It is a strict tonal pattern and rhyme scheme. The poem describes the author missing his relatives from afar under the moonlight as the author left his hometown, so that's the title's meaning. I think the famous lines in this poetry should be "海上升明月，天涯共此时." It means seeing a bright moon rises over the boundless sea, reminds the author of his faraway relatives.
