Is there any difference between using "get up courage" and "muster up the courage"?
Examples:
I could barely get up courage to talk to him.
I could barely muster up the courage to talk to her.
They mean the same thing, although (1) you're missing an article - it should be "get up *the* courage", and (2) "mustering up the courage to do X" is more elegant and formal than "getting up the courage to do X."
