I notice a lot of teachers here on italki teaching, do the teachers here on italki could actually withdraw the ITC into real money? I notice that when you withdraw the ITC this month, it is said that the money will be received by next month? Why that long? Is it trying to scam everyone?

And also it is said that if you refer your friend to italki and if they buy credits, you would also get $20 credited to your account? Is that true? Does anyone tried this before?

Hi Candice,

Account payments are handled at the beginning of every calendar month; as far as I understand, it's not an automatic thing.  I tend to transfer my ITC near the end of the month, so I get my withdrawal in a week or two.
