in my opinion coincidence is a defination for intersection of 2 men destiny i think we have some steps in our lives and those steps r our destiny; however, but the journey between each 2 steps is ours .... we choose how to travel it this is a nice story once a man was traveling by his boat but he found a hole and the boat was going to drawn eventually .... he thought about the situation and he had 3 options 1-profane maybe he will survive 2-use his sail maybe wind will drive him somewhere 3-give up and he will die the hole of the boat is his destiny (1st step) and the journey between this step and the next one is his choice

I believe in cause and effect. It's the driving force behind everything in life. As you can surmise from the story '塞翁失马' Bargets said, the cause or the consequence depends on your point of view. You'd have ever undergone something produced an effect opposite to what was intended, it's because everyone and everything are intimately connected to others. So we would need to understand how an event will interact with others.

Life like love is never coincidence. "Coincidence" isn't about statistics, random chance, or metaphysics. It's in one's psychology. "S#!t happens." Events unfold as they do. Is an event so completely random it has no connection to other events? No. If we looked close enough and could understand the connection all things have in the universe, we could see the connection. (Notice I didn't say reason.) So, does everything happen for a reason? Perhaps. However, the reason someone usually thinks of is usually just that. A reason they "think" applies and it's usually based upon their limited point of view. Someone else may see another reason. The Universe may have another reason altogether. Here's a little story about the meaning ppl give to events and how the meaning can change: "Maybe -- There is a Taoist story of an old farmer who had worked his crops for many years. One day his horse ran away. Upon hearing the news, his neighbors came to visit. "Such bad luck," they said sympathetically. "May be," the farmer replied. The next morning the horse returned, bringing with it three other wild horses. "How wonderful," the neighbors exclaimed. "May be," replied the old man. The following day, his son tried to ride one of the untamed horses, was thrown, and broke his leg. The neighbors again came to offer their sympathy on his misfortune. "May be," answered the farmer. The day after, military officials came to the village to draft young men into the army. Seeing that the son's leg was broken, they passed him by. The neighbors congratulated the farmer on how well things had turned out. "May be," said the farmer
