What does it mean: "to make a proof of?" Thanks.

We'd need a full sentence. "Proof" can have several meanings. My first thought is about printing: you need a "proof" (a printed copy) to check that it prints correctly and you can continue the run. Apart from that, there's a "mathematical proof" (ie. an equation).

The correct term is 'to find proof of' Example: Can you find any proof of his disrespect towards his teachers?

Yeah without some context this phrase doesn't make sense.
