in my understanding, to make it closer to the grammar pattern used in the Korean sentence, 나타샤라고 해요 would be directly translated - [they] say Nataša [to me]. the pattern ~라고 하다 is used for the indirect speech when you want to express someone else's words - 뭐? 뭐라고 했어? (what? what did you say?). or even your own words - 나는 애기에게 우유를 마시라고 했어 (I told the baby to drink his milk). check this link as well - <a href="http://www.language.berkeley.edu/korean/10/lesson05/05_grammar_only.htm">see_2_Indirect_statements</a>. hope it was useful..
