Ive asked this question before but I dont know what 調子　means... It has many meanings in the dictionary:

How's it going?  「調子どう？」　→調子はどうですか？　
I'm under the weather. 「調子悪いんだ」　→気分が優れません

I'm in a good mood.　｢調子いい！」　
I'm in a bad mood. 「調子わるい！」

I think generally it express physical or mental condition.
Maybe it originally came from musical expression.  But today we use this mailnly these meanings.
