Das Werkzeug: Beim Feilen wird eine Feile benutzt. Beim Schleifen benutzt man ein Schleifmedium (z.B. Schleifpapier) auf einem Schleifblock. Gefeilt wird normalerweise mit einem Werkzeug, das man mit der Hand benutzt. Geschliffen wird manchmal auch mit der Hand, manchmal aber mit einer Maschine oder in einem Automaten.
