Hi Emarbe! Unfortunately I have not yet learned Spanish, but I will answer your question in English! :)
The first example makes sense, while the second makes less sense. To "indulge" implies luxury, like fine wine, food, desserts, or even something like an expensive hotel room. It also implies that you can't afford to do it often - if you are so rich that you can travel whenever you want, then you are not really indulging. It can also be used in a metaphorical sense, and isn't necessarily tied to money. For example, if you are on a diet, but decide to eat some cake, that could be called "indulging" even if it is not expensive or difficult to obtain.
