Найти and искать what is the difference?

Найти -find (perfective)
   искать -search, look for (imperfective)
They form the aspect couple, the 1st means the result, the 2nd is used when talking about the process:
-что ты ищешь? What are you looking for?
- (ищу) свои носки. My socks.
- ну как, нашел носки? So, have you found them?
- нет, так и не нашел! No, still haven't.
