What does " around the corner" mean here?
Please let me know what " around the corner" here means. Does it mean very near or means literally?
The children are playing around the corner.
It is used both figuratively and literally. In your example sentence, it is literal- the children are playing around a physical corner. But you could also say, for example, "Summer is just around the corner", meaning summer is coming very shortly.
