both of (أو) and ( أم ) : means (or) but each one has its uses the first example it should be أضربت زيدا أم عمر؟ and it means did you beat Zaid or Omar? because it is a question and we don't use (أو) in questions we can use أم but أو means also (or) but in a sentence not in a question like: سأضرب زيدا أو عمر and it means: i will beat Zaid or Omar The answer of your second question is ( إِنَّ الَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا سَوَاءٌ عَلَيْهِمْ أَأَنْذَرْتَهُمْ أَمْ لَمْ تُنْذِرْهُمْ لَا يُؤْمِنُونَ ) it is verse 6 from Surat Al baqarah in the Holy Qur'an and we can't change what in the Holy Qur'an because its our Creator words and it is the absolute right words in both meaning and language :)

Generally, أم is used in questions, and أو in normal sentences. ل is used to express causality, to answer the question "why ?" = لماذا ؟ لماذا لم تَذهب الى العمل ؟ لِأَنَّني مَريض Why you didn't go to work ? Because I'm ill Also ل is used to mean “to belong to.” هذا القَلَمُ لِأحمَد = This pen is for Ahmed / belongs to Ahmed As for ب it means the tool or the way you did teh verb example : ذَهَبتُ بِسُرعَةٍ = I went quickly كَتَبْتُ بِقَلَمٍ = I wrote with a pen I hope these examples were clear to show you the meaning of the prepostitions
