Look good and lose face
Are they both correct?
I'm really worried about giving the speech because I want to look good in front of my class.
I told that small lie because I didn't want to lose face with him.
You actually mean to say to "save face" and not to "lose face." So for example, "I saw an old embarrassing photograph and laughed it off to save face."
