VON oder DURCH in Passiv?
Do I understand correctly, that if we're talking about a person, then VON+Dative is the only option, but when we're talking about a thing/event then both VON+Dative and DURCH+Akkusative are possible?

Die Maus wurde DURCH Gift getötet.
