Philosopher--lover of knowledge.
Anglophile--lover of all things British Similarly, "Francophile," and doubtless many other nations, but "Anglophile" is the only one I can think of as being in common use--in the United States.
Philologist--literally lover of words, but actually an academic who studies language. (I am not sure of the precise distinction between "philology" and "linguistics.")
Philadelphia (city name), literally brotherly love
Philatelist--postage stamp collector, literally "lover of stamps"
Philoprogenitive--someone with a lot of children, literally "lover of progeny."
Philodendron--a plant that climbs trees, literally "lover of trees"
Oenophile--lover of wine. (Rare).
Regrettably: pedophile, literally lover of children, but not in an acceptable way.

There are a fair number of words that can end in either "-phile" for "lover," or "-phobe" for "hater."
For example, ailurophile, cat-lover; ailurophobe, cat-hater.

Forgot to answer your title question: a logophile is a lover of words.

Forgot these because they are phila-, not philo- but:
philanthropist--someone who donates a lot to charity, literally "lover of all humankind"
Here's an interesting one:
philanderer--a man who has many sexual affairs.
Now the puzzle is this: the -anderer part is the same root as androgen, anthropologist, etc--it means "man." So the word ought to mean "lover of men." I personally have only heard this word used to mean "womanizer," that is, a man who has many heterosexual affairs with women. You would think such a man would be a "philogynist," but there is no such word. I will leave it to you to explore the history and etymology of the word.
