What is the correct meaning of idiom "pigeonhole"?
What does expression "pigeon hole" means besides cabinet divided in smaller sections? Is it correct it's an expression for prejudice because of certain stereotypes addressed to certain groups of people?
Example:
And when she says I'm Sagittarien
I confess a pigeonhole starts to form
And is immediately filled with pigeon
When she says her name is Storm.

Yes, exactly. We use the idiom of 'pigeonholing' people to describe a tendency to stereotype. It's the idea of making a snap judgement about someone based on first impressions or a single piece of information, then fitting them into a predetermined slot and not looking beyond this narrow definition.

I am not used to seeing it used in connection with stereotypes, although I can imagine that usage, considering the idea of putting things in compartments. I am most accustomed to the usage meaning to put something away with the intention of forgetting it.
