Could you tell me the difference between "promptly" and "quickly"?

'Promptly' means immediately or without delay. 'Quickly' refers to the speed that something happens. They don't necessarily mean the same thing. You can do something promptly but at a normal speed. Conversely, you can do something late, but at high speed.
