Place vs. Spot vs. Site
Hi! Could you please explain me the difference among these nouns "place," "spot" and "site?"
In which context do you use them? Thanks a lot!

A place is a very general term.It could be talking about a country, a street, a house, even a place in a text.
A spot is more specific for example "Here is the exact spot where the body was found".
A site is usually used in connection with archeology or history" THis is the site where Shakespeare's house originally stood".
"There are many interesting tourist sites in my city."

It can also be used for a virtual site or website.
