Place vs. Spot vs. Site Hi! Could you please explain me the difference among these nouns "place," "spot" and "site?" In which context do you use them? Thanks a lot!

A place is a very general term.It could be talking about a country, a street, a house, even a place in a text. A spot is more specific for example "Here is the exact spot where the body was found". A site is usually used in connection with archeology or history" THis is the site where Shakespeare's house originally stood". "There are many interesting tourist sites in my city."
