"Correct "and "rectify " what are the different? What are the differences? rectify each other . correct to each other . All right?

Correct (adjective) means true, accurate, right (e.g. I am right) etc. etc. Correct (verb) i.e. 'to correct' is similar in meaning as rectify (e.g. I want to rectify this mistake. I want to correct this mistake.)
