I do concur with DavidM; it is a good rule of thumb if you think of “gracioso” as funny and “divertido” as fun. Jane is a funny girl, but Mary is a fun girl. Jane es una chica graciosa, pero Mary es una chica divertida. I guess Gracioso is used to describe something comical while Divertido is used to describe something that gives you a good time. "grasioso" is when something provokes you to laugh, and "divertido" is just when something makes you happy.

Son muy similares aunque gracioso es lo que piensas sobre algo que te causa risa o gracia y divertido viene de divertir es decir que te sientes muy bien haciéndolo o esa cosa o persona te hace pasar un buen momento

"gracioso" it's how you call someone or something but in an informal way, and "divertido" it's the same but a little more formal.
