Irish: Are These Relative Clauses Using the Verb Cum Correct? In the following relative clauses, I mean "to write" in the sense of "to compose". Are these correct including their word orders? 1. an fear a / nár chum dán inné = the man who wrote / didn't write a poem yesterday 2. an fear ar / nár chum mé dán inné dó = the man who I wrote / didn't write a poem for yesterday = the man for whom I wrote / didn't write a poem yesterday 3. an fear ar / nár chum a mhac dán inné = the man whose son wrote / didn't write a poem yesterday 4. an fear a / nár chum dán inné dó = the man wrote / didn't write him a poem yesterday 5. an fear a / nár chum dán inné dó féin = the man wrote / didn't write a poem for himself yesterdaySorry, #4 and #5 should say "the man who...".

They're all correct. The only thing I would do differently is to put "inné" at the end of the sentence, instead of before "dó".
