What's the difference between "zip" and "zipper" please?

Lee's answer is correct. I just wanted to add that "unzip" is to open a zipper, while "zip" is usually meant to mean "close a zipper." Also, "zip" as a verb has the separate meaning of "to move quickly", although it's not used that frequently.
