Hi Jalia I agree self studying Japanese is hard, I would suggest you learn a little bit every day. A great way to do this is with a series of books. "GENKI 1 second edition" are great books they take you through everything step by step. They also come with a great cd for practicing the pronunciation of everything in the book. There are also workbooks that review each lesson and allow you to practice further each lesson. These books are highly recommended by many people, sadly they are a little expensive, but in my opinion they are worth it. You can find them on amazon's website. Hope this helps Good luck :)

Continue Katakana until you're comfortable with it then move onto Hiragana. When you've memorised and understood everything, move onto Kanji. That's what I'm doing :) For pronunciation you could watch Anime or listen to Japanese music. Ganbatter!
