Price is a noun. "The price of this coat is..." while pricing is the action of creating a price or value of an object. "Based on the research presented we decided to set the pricing of this luxury car to between $25,000 to $30,000."

"Price", the noun, is the amount expected as payment for something.
"Price" can also be a verb, meaning to set or determine the price. "Pricing" is the gerund form of the verb, functioning as a noun (i.e., meaning the setting or determining of the price).

Price can be a verb. To price something. With this usage, the progressive form of the verb is pricing.
