What does "screwed-up kid" mean? What does "screwed-up kid" mean? eg. I feel like the parent yelling at a screwed-up kid. I also heard of "messed-up kid", what exactly do they mean respectively?

Related to a kid, they mean the same thing, with the definition as Chris gave you. "Messed up" can also mean "high on drugs" or "drunk" in other contexts. You can't use "screwed up" here.
