what does "you ok?" mean??
"you ok??" or "are you ok??"
I've known it as asking somebody when it seems there is some problem, to make sure if everything is okay.
But is it same use with "how are you?"

'You OK?' can be the same as 'How are you?'.
In Britain, for example, people often use 'You OK?', 'You alright?' or just 'Alright?' as part of an informal exchange of greetings.
The context will always tell you whether this is a genuine enquiry or just a polite formula.
