Computers engineers would like to know how can the human brain execute so many functions simultaneously.

A is correct, B is nearly correct except for the syntax: - Computers engineers would like to know how the human brain can execute so many functions simultaneously. however, the word "can" is really not needed here. Slightly better is "... how the brain executes ..."
