What is the correct expression when you are speaking about clothes in an job? When you are talking about the correct clothes and accesories to work in a lab...Do you use "clothes" or "clothing"...For instance: The people must use the adequate work clothing (working clothes?) and personal protection elements. Obviously the complete clothes must include the personal protection elements like mask, gloves and this sort of things.... Thank you.

I would say "wear appropriate clothing and use personal protective equipment (PPE)". Note the correct verbs: you wear clothing and use PPE.

Firstly, 'PPE' stands for 'personal protective equipment.' Secondly, if you work in a lab you wear a 'lab coat' to protect yourself and stop your clothes from getting damaged. 'Adequate' is not the correct translation of what I would guess would be the Spanish word 'adecuado.' 'Appropriate clothing' is probably the phrase you are looking for. In the labs I have worked in, when you start you are given a health and safety induction and it always includes something like this: Lab coats and safety glasses must be worn at all times in the lab. Personnel must take care to wear appropriate PPE, depending on the task at hand. If you search online you can probably find some actual safety policies from real labs.
