How do you celebrate your birthday?
We learned form our textbook, that Americans typically throw a party to celebrate their birthday. Is that true? If so, what will you do on the party? Eating favourate foods, or dangcing or singing or anything else? And who will pay for the cost.
Most time we can get a present from our parents, a little bit expensive things. We usually go out to dinner with our family, and eat noddle. You know the noddle is long&thin. in Mandarin the pronounciation of "thin" is the same as ”寿“ , means lifetime. So we eat noddle, expect for a long lifeO(∩_∩)O~
Thanks for your attention!

To celebrate, we eat cake. The cake has candles on it. The person who is celebrating his or her birthday blows out the candles. Traditionally, the number of candles on the cake is the same as the number of years of the person´s life.

Yup, it's very common to have parties on our birthdays! Usually (if you aren't an adult yet) your parents pay for the party. It can be anything! It could be a fancy dinner with your friends, a dance party, a party at the beach... whatever you want! Usually your friends all bring presents and you celebrate by eating cake :D
Also sometimes friends will throw you a surprise party! If you weren't planning on having a party they may set one up without you knowing and surprise you with one, it's so cool omg
