Close (of) ? Near (of) ? How to use it properly? Which preposition should I use?
Hello.
If I wanted to say: This place is here near of my job. Is that right ?
Or, Should I use "close" instead "near"?
Whats is the correct preposition to use in that case? Of ???? To ?????
Thanks in advance!

The options are :
a) near
b) near to
c) close to
They are all equally good though, in my opinion, "near" is the most informal.
As far as I am aware, there is no difference in usage between the USA and the UK on this point, though of course individuals will have preferences.

"This place is close to my job," would be fine.
In America, I'd use, "this place is close to where I work." It sounds a little bit more natural, but either sentence gets the point across.
