So, on the pro side, they really enable you to represent this non-linear complex features and they have impressive results" what does the "pro" mean?dose it mean "professional"?

This "Pro" means good or beneficial. It comes from the expression "Pros and cons." This comes from Latin. In Latin “pros and cons” is a shortening of “pro et contra”, which means “for and against”.
