What's the meaning of this sentence? the capacity of a system to maintain a continuous flow of whatever each part of that system needs for a healthy existence Can someone help me to paraphrase it or give me an explanation ? Thank you.

It is about a system being able to keep managing the resources its components require in order to continue its usual functions.
