I could never get used to it. and I have never gotten used to it.Or, are these the same?
I could never get used to it. and I can never get used to it.
These two sentences have essentially the same meaning. Some examples would be 'I live in America but I have never gotten used to driving on the right hand side of the road' or 'I live in America but I could never get used to driving on the right hand side of the road.' Both sentences have the same meaning.
