what does "finger cutting" mean??
My british friend's got a date with a girl and they went to a horror movie.
Then He posted on his facebook something like it was too much finger cutting for her.
I couldn't make out the meaning of it and couldn't even find the word in a dictionary*.
what does it mean?
I may make a mistake in recalling the exact expression. but looked similar with finger cutting.
Many thanks in advance!

The meaning is pretty literal. He is saying the movie was too gory/too violent for her (i.e. there were too many instances of people having body parts lopped off/being gratuitously hurt, hence his use of 'finger cutting.')

Sorry, I have no idea what the phrase should be. Are you able to check the facebook post again?
By the way, be careful of strange abbreviations. Shortening "dictionary" to "dic" (which we never do) sounds very comical.

The girl hated seeing fingers being cut and blood in the movie. I guess the man didn't mind. "finger cutting" means just what it says, cutting fingers.
