How can I make written accents on my Windows 10 machine? Okay, so on my computer, I have downloaded the language packs for Latin American Spanish and Brazilian Portuguese. I am able to interchange them by simply pressing a button. However, there are no accents. I cannot say "voce" or "dia" with the appropriate accents. How can I make use of these keyboards?

Assuming you have standard an English keyboard, the following commands should work. [Shift ~] = tilde (til) e.g. pães [`] = grave accent (crase) e.g. Sairei ás duas horas da tarde [‘ ](apostrophe) = acute (acento agudo) e.g. está [Shift ^] = circumflex (acento circunflexo) e.g. experiência [RightAlt c] = cedilla (cê cedilha) e.g. balanço Source: http://braziliangringo.com/brazilian-keyboard/ Please, let me know if it worked...

In general you have to press shift and the button with the accent on the top before you type the letter, I don't know if you've did that. If so, there is a problem.

First the word "day" in Portuguese doesn't have accent, we write "dia". Probably you are confusing with the Spanish word "día" which have same meaning of "day". Secound you can get the accents in your keyboard if you change the language in the bar of pc. Did you try do it? In my pc I've different languages like German and if I press some letters in keyboard it will write not the letter draw of keyboard but the "special" letter in German I want.
