What does "people influenced by their peers to adopt cetain behaviours" mean?
I came across this explantaion
"herd mentality
people influenced by their peers to adopt certain behaviours"
I don't understand what this sentence really means. I tried to change it to make the meaning clear.
1. Can I change it to " people influenced by their peers and adopt certain behaviours"?
2. Can I change it to " People with herd mentality are the who adopt themselves into cetain behaviours which are influenced
by their peers."?
I'll appreciate if you make any comment on them. Thank you.

I think you're close, but there's a causality that is not evident in the way #1 and #2 were phrased. I would change them to:
1. People influenced by their peers adopt certain behaviours of these peers.
2. People with herd mentality are those who adopt certain behaviours of their peers/group because of their influence on them ("them" being the "people with herd mentality").
The idea of herd mentality is doing or following what others are doing, without necessarily knowing why, in order to conform to the norms of that group.
