How does present indicative and present progressive work in Japanese?
Hello everyone,
I want to know how do present indicative and present progressive phrases function in Japanese?
For example:
I read. (Action I do on a regular basis)
I am reading. (Action I am doing in the present)
Let's say in Japanese I wrote the following:
読みます.
読んで います.
Is there a difference in using progressive, is using progressive in Japanese the same as using it in English?
Thank you for helping, どうもありがとう.
