1)The girl leans toward him, and LAYS her right hand on his shoulder.
Suggestion: Keep the verb the same (simple present tense) Use a comma to connect the two actions.
2)The man is wearing a navy blue suit with a pink tie. He is also wearing something black around his left wrist WHICH looks like a strap.
Suggestion: Use WHICH (relative pronoun) to connect something black with its appearance (looks like a strap).
3)In the background, there are a lot of trees and bushes and the Sun's rays lights them up.
Suggestion: Sun (proper noun) / lights (something) up is a phrasal verb to describe making something brighter.
4)Green meadow-like landscape really enlivens the picture.
Green and meadow like are adjectives describing the landscape (noun). Meadow like means the landscape looks like a meadow. Therefore, it is a compound adjective and requires a hyphen.
5)People may not understand their own language completely.
Suggestions: It sounds a little informal to use percentage.
6)The bigger girl wore a baggy striped sweatshirt , a pair of light blue jeans and a pair of pink half wellingtons.
Suggestion: "Wore" should be used here as simple past tense already confers the meaning of the past.
