Chefs

The plural of "chef" is "chefs..." because "chef" is now truly an English word. When we borrow foreign words into English, after a while they are simply English and we use normal English plurals. Words where we "remember" the foreign origins and form plurals according to the original language are the exception. However, the only reliable rule is "check a dictionary."
