I sent … vs. I have sent … vs. I had sent you an email already
Which one is correct? and if all of them are correct, what are their different meanings?
1. I sent you an email already.
2. I have sent you an email already.
3. I had sent you an email already.

1. This is the past simple tense. This is how an American would say it.
2. This is the present perfect tense. This is how a British person would say it.
3. This is the past perfect tense. This verb tense is more complicated, and is used to describe something that happened before something else that happened at a fixed time in the past.

first and second sentences are almost of same meaning but the third one is implying that the message has been sent a long time ago
