I cannot notice the differencies between "erwarten" & "warten" !!! please help me thanks (:

I think the main difference is "warten", you're literally waiting until something or someone arrives, and "erwarten" you're hoping that something happens :) warten: wait erwarten: expect/look forward to/can't wait for
