I think, it would be better to say: “as far as I remeber, you said that you needed a camrecorded“.

Sentence 1 sounds more natural but usually if u use"  as " for the first word of the sentence , we normally add another sentence behind it . Or else i think it will sounds more natural if you put the word " as " in the middle of the sentence
