계산하다 meaning
계산하다 is translated as "to calculate" but I see it as "to pay" in context really often? What does it mean? What makes it mean "to pay"? Please help me with examples!
Thank you!

계산해주세요 can be used in the two situations.
1. You can see 계산해주세요 ( meaning 'to calculate') in the academic, mathematics and business situations such as (이 문제를) 계산하세요, (매출 금액이 맞는지) 계산해 주세요?
2. On the other hand, 계산해주세요 (to pay) also can be used in the situations where you're actually buying somethings in the stores or restaurants etc.
Example : (이 물건 값을) 계산해 주세요,
(밥 값을) 계산해 주세요.
As you already know, subject or object word easily can be skipped in spoken Korean.
Hope it helps you ;)

Hi. I'm Jina!
As you said, 계산하다 is 'to calculate' and people also use it as 'to pay(calculating money)'
내가 계산할게 : I'll pay
가서 계산해 : Go and pay
어떻게 계산할래? : How would you like to pay?
계산해 주세요 : Could you ring me up?
계산해 드릴게요 : I will ring it through the till
I hope it will help you (:
